Tamil Film Murattu Kalai stills

Murattu Kaalai is an upcoming Tamil action film directed by Selvabharathy. A remake of the same-titled 1980's Rajinikanth-starrer, it stars Sundar C. and Sneha in the lead roles. This film is scheduled to release on 12 November 2010


The film was under production since 2009. It was shelved for some reasons which includes financial problems. It was slated for a September 2010 release, but nothing materialized out well. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M. Karunanidhi lauched the audio of the film on 18 September 2010, which was received by actor Vikram and the film is expected to be released by 12 November 2010
